1Joh. 5:18 Me tiedämme, ettei yksikään Jumalasta
syntynyt tee syntiä; vaan Jumalasta syntynyt pitää itsestänsä vaarin, eikä
häneen ryhdy se paha.

1Joh. 3:9 Ei yksikään Jumalasta syntynyt tee syntiä, sillä Jumalan siemen pysyy
hänessä; eikä hän saata syntiä tehdä, sillä hän on Jumalasta syntynyt.
Biblia (1776)
Me tiedämme, että jokainen, joka Jumalasta syntynyt on, ei hän syntiä tee; vaan
joka Jumalasta syntynyt on, se varjelee itsensä, ja paha ei rupee häneen.
Englanti (KJV 1789)
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of
God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
1 Joh 5: Jeesus Kristus, iankaikkinen elämä 18 Me tiedämme, ettei yksikään Jumalasta syntynyt tee syntiä. Hän, joka on syntynyt Jumalasta, varjelee jokaisen heistä,
niin ettei Paha saa otetta. 19 Me tiedämme olevamme Jumalasta, mutta koko maailma on Pahan vallassa.
AMP 1 Joh 5: 18 We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One
Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him
preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get
a grip) on him or touch [him].
MSG 1Joh 5:18-21 We know that none of the God-begotten makes a
practice of sin—fatal sin. The God-begotten are also the God-protected. The Evil One can’t lay a hand on them.
We know that we are held firm by God; it’s only the people of the world who
continue in the grip of the Evil One. And we know that the Son of God came so we could recognize and understand
the truth of God—what a gift!—and we are living in the Truth itself, in
God’s Son, Jesus Christ. This Jesus is both True God and Real Life. Dear
children, be on guard against all clever facsimiles.
TLB 1 Joh 5: 18 No one who has
become part of God’s family makes a practice of sinning, for Christ, God’s Son, holds him securely, and the devil cannot get his hands on him. 19 We know that we are children of God and that all the rest of the world around us is under Satan’s power and control. 20 And we know that Christ, God’s Son, has come to help us understand and find the
true God. And now we are in God because we are in Jesus Christ his Son, who
is the only true God; and he is eternal Life.
