02.10. 1 Kor 13:4-5, Joh 15:8

1 Kor 13:4-5
Rakkaus on kärsivällinen, rakkaus on lempeä. Rakkaus ei kadehdi, ei kersku, ei pöyhkeile, ei käyttäydy sopimattomasti, ei etsi omaa etuaan, ei katkeroidu, ei muistele kärsimäänsä pahaa,

1 Corinthians 13:4-5Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.

It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
1 Corinthians 13:4-7The Message (MSG)

3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

Joh 15:8 Siinä minun Isäni kirkastetaan, että te kannatte paljon hedelmää ja tulette minun opetuslapsikseni.

John 15:8Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

John 15:8The Message (MSG)
5-8 “I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples

01.10. 2 Kor 12:9-10, Joh 15.8

2.Kor12:9 Ja hän sanoi minulle: "Minun armossani on sinulle kyllin; sillä minun voimani tulee täydelliseksi heikkoudessa." Sentähden minä mieluimmin kerskaan heikkoudestani, että Kristuksen voima asettuisi minuun asumaan.
12:10 Sentähden minä olen mielistynyt heikkouteen, pahoinpitelyihin, hätään, vainoihin, ahdistuksiin, Kristuksen tähden; sillä kun olen heikko, silloin minä olen väkevä

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [b]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

10 So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [[c]in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful [d]in divine strength).

30.09. Ps 18:35-36, Jes 44:3

Ps 18:35-36 Sinä annat minulle pelastuksen kilven, ja sinun oikea kätesi minua tukee; sinun laupeutesi tekee minut suureksi. Sinä annat minun askeleilleni avaran tilan, ja minun jalkani eivät horju

Psalm 18:35-36Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

35 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, and Your right hand has held me up; Your gentleness and condescension have made me great.

36 You have given plenty of room for my steps under me, that my feet would not slip

Jes 44:3 Sillä minä vuodatan vedet janoavaisen päälle ja virrat kuivan maan päälle. Minä vuodatan Henkeni sinun siemenesi päälle ja siunaukseni sinun vesojesi päälle.

Isaiah 44:3Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit upon your offspring, and My blessing upon your descendants.

Isaiah 44:3Amplified Bible (AMP)

For I will pour out water on him who is thirsty,
And streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring
And My blessing on your descendants;

Isaiah 44:3-5The Message (MSG)

Proud to Be Called Israel

44 1-5 “But for now, dear servant Jacob, listen—
yes, you, Israel, my personal choice.
God who made you has something to say to you;
the God who formed you in the womb wants to help you.
Don’t be afraid, dear servant Jacob,
    Jeshurun, the one I chose.
For I will pour water on the thirsty ground
and send streams coursing through the parched earth.
I will pour my Spirit into your descendants
and my blessing on your children.
They shall sprout like grass on the prairie,
    like willows alongside creeks.
This one will say, ‘I am God’s,’
    and another will go by the name Jacob;
That one will write on his hand ‘God’s property’—
and be proud to be called Israel.”

28.09. Hab 2:3

Englanti (KJV 1789)
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:3

3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

Habakkuk 2:3Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.

Psalm 139:13-14Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
13 For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.

26.09. 1 Joh 4:9-10

1 John 4:9-10Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or [a]unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him.

10 In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.

1 Samuel 13:14Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

1 Samuel 13:14The Message (MSG)

13-14 “That was a fool thing to do,” Samuel said to Saul. “If you had kept the appointment that your God commanded, by now God would have set a firm and lasting foundation under your kingly rule over Israel. As it is, your kingly rule is already falling to pieces. God is out looking for your replacement right now. This time he’ll do the choosing. When he finds him, he’ll appoint him leader of his people. And all because you didn’t keep your appointment with God!”

1 Samuel 13:14Living Bible (TLB)

James 1:23-24Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

23 For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror;

24 For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like.

James 1:23-24The Message (MSG)

22-24 Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.
James 1:23-24Living Bible (TLB)

23 For if a person just listens and doesn’t obey, he is like a man looking at his face in a mirror; 24 as soon as he walks away, he can’t see himself anymore or remember what he looks like.

James 3:17Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). Jes 43:2 Jos vetten läpi kuljet, olen minä sinun kanssasi, jos virtojen läpi, eivät ne sinua upota; jos tulen läpi käyt, et sinä kärvenny, eikä liekki sinua polta
Isaiah 43:2Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.
Isaiah 43:2-4The Message (MSG)
When You’re Between a Rock and a Hard Place
43 1-4 But now, God’s Message,
the God who made you in the first place, Jacob,
the One who got you started, Israel:
“Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you.
I’ve called your name. You’re mine.
When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you.
When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you’re between a rock and a hard place,
it won’t be a dead end—
Because I am God, your personal God,
The Holy of Israel, your Savior.
I paid a huge price for you:
all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in!
That’s how much you mean to me!
That’s how much I love you!
I’d sell off the whole world to get you back,
trade the creation just for you.
Isaiah 43:2Living Bible (TLB)
When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you.

Sef 3:17 Herra, Jumalasi, on sinun kanssasi, hän on voimallinen, hän auttaa. Sinä olet hänen ilonsa, rakkaudessaan hän tekee sinut uudeksi, hän iloitsee, hän riemuitsee sinusta.
Zephaniah 3:17Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
17 The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17The Message (MSG)

Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love
and delight you with his songs.
Zephaniah 3:17-18Living Bible (TLB)
17-18 For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will give you victory. He will rejoice over you with great gladness; he will love you and not accuse you.” Is that a joyous choir I hear? No, it is the Lord himself exulting over you in happy song.
“I have gathered your wounded and taken away your reproach.

19.09. Room 8:26

Room 8:26
Myös Henki auttaa meitä, jotka olemme heikkoja. Emmehän tiedä, miten meidän tulisi rukoilla, että rukoilisimme oikein. Henki itse kuitenkin puhuu meidän puolestamme sanattomin huokauksin.

Romans 8:26Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.

Room. 8:26
Samoin myös Henki auttaa meidän heikkouttamme. Sillä me emme tiedä, mitä meidän pitää rukoileman, niinkuin rukoilla tulisi, mutta Henki itse rukoilee meidän puolestamme sanomattomilla huokauksilla.
Rinnakkaisviitteet
Sak. 12:10 Ja minä vuodatan Daavidin suvun päälle ja Jerusalemin asukasten päälle armon ja rukouksen hengen. He katsovat minuun, jonka he ovat lävistäneet. Ja he valittavat häntä, niinkuin valitetaan ainokaista, murehtivat häntä katkerasti, niinkuin murehditaan katkerasti esikoista.
Joh. 14:16 Ja minä olen rukoileva Isää, ja hän antaa teille toisen Puolustajan olemaan teidän kanssanne iankaikkisesti
Biblia (1776)

Englanti (KJV 1789)
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed…”
Luke 4:18Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],
Luke 4:18Amplified Bible (AMP)
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah),
Because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy),
Luke 4:18Good News Translation (GNT)
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to set free the oppressed
Luke 4:18-21The Message (MSG)
16-21 He came to Nazareth where he had been reared. As he always did on the Sabbath, he went to the meeting place. When he stood up to read, he was handed the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. Unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written,
God’s Spirit is on me;
he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor,
Sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and
recovery of sight to the blind,
To set the burdened and battered free,
to announce, “This is God’s year to act!”
He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the assistant, and sat down. Every eye in the place was on him, intent. Then he started in, “You’ve just heard Scripture make history. It came true just now in this place.”
Luke 4:18-19Living Bible (TLB)
18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted and to announce that captives shall be released and the blind shall see, that the downtrodden shall be freed from their oppressors, and that God is ready to give blessings to all who come to him.”[a]
Footnotes: Luke 4:18 to give blessings to all who come to him, literally, “to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
