And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18Amplified Bible (AMP)

I know the plans I have for you…plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).

John 17:14
I have given and delivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world.

I like this:
Whenever we hear about what is happening in the world, we should ask God for His perspective and inquire as to how He wants us to respond. We then need to listen for His response and act accordingly. This is one way we can be in the world but not of the world.
Take a stand for godly values and never compromise.

15.07. Matt 7:13-14

Matt 7:13 Menkää ahtaasta portista sisälle. Sillä se portti on avara ja tie lavea, joka vie kadotukseen, ja monta on, jotka siitä sisälle menevät;

13.07. 1 Joh 4:10

1 John 4:10  Siinä on rakkaus – ei siinä, että me olemme rakastaneet Jumalaa, vaan siinä, että hän on rakastanut meitä ja lähettänyt Poikansa meidän syntiemme sovitukseksi.

1 John 4:10Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
10 In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.

1 John 4:10Amplified Bible (AMP)
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation [that is, the atoning sacrifice, and the satisfying offering] for our sins [fulfilling God’s requirement for justice against sin and placating His wrath].

John 4:10The Message (MSG)
God Is Love
7-10 My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.

1 John 4:10Living Bible (TLB)
10 In this act we see what real love is: it is not our love for God but his love for us when he sent his Son to satisfy God’s anger against our sins.

Romans 16:25-27Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
25 Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of (concerning) Jesus Christ (the Messiah), according to the revelation (the unveiling) of the mystery of the plan of redemption which was kept in silence and secret for long ages,
26 But is now disclosed and through the prophetic Scriptures is made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, [to win them] to obedience to the faith,
27 To [the] only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One)! Amen (so be it).

Romans 16:25-27The Message (MSG)
25-26 All of our praise rises to the One who is strong enough to make you strong, exactly as preached in Jesus Christ, precisely as revealed in the mystery kept secret for so long but now an open book through the prophetic Scriptures. All the nations of the world can now know the truth and be brought into obedient belief, carrying out the orders of God, who got all this started, down to the very last letter.
27 All our praise is focused through Jesus on this incomparably wise God! Yes!

Romans 16:25-27Living Bible (TLB)
25-27 I commit you to God, who is able to make you strong and steady in the Lord, just as the Gospel says, and just as I have told you. This is God’s plan of salvation for you Gentiles, kept secret from the beginning of time. But now as the prophets foretold and as God commands, this message is being preached everywhere, so that people all around the world will have faith in Christ and obey him. To God, who alone is wise, be the glory forever through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Room. 16:12 Uusi elämä Kristuksessa
1. Jumalan armahtavan laupeuden
kautta kehotan siis teitä, veljet: Antakaa
ruumiinne eläväksi, pyhäksi, Jumalalle
mieluisaksi uhriksi. Tämä on
teidän järjellinen jumalanpalveluksenne.Room. 6:13; 1. Kor. 6:13,20
2. Älkää mukautuko tämän maailmanajan
menoon, vaan muuttukaa
mielenne uudistuksen kautta, jotta
voisitte tutkia, mikä on Jumalan tahto,
mikä on hyvää, hänen mielensä mukaista
ja täydellistä. Ef. 4:23; Kol. 1:9; 1 Piet. 1:14,15

Romans 12:1-2Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
12 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Romans 12:1-2The Message (MSG)
Place Your Life Before God
12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Romans 12:1-2Living Bible (TLB)
12 And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy—the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you.

10.07. Room 8.1-4

Romans 8:1-4Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
8 Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit .For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [[a]the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [[b]subdued, overcame, [c]deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit].

 Matthew 13:8Amplified Bible (AMP)
Other seed fell on good soil and yielded grain, some a hundred times as much [as was sown], some sixty [times as much], and some thirty.

Matthew 13:8The Message (MSG)
3-8 “What do you make of this? A farmer planted seed. As he scattered the seed, some of it fell on the road, and birds ate it. Some fell in the gravel; it sprouted quickly but didn’t put down roots, so when the sun came up it withered just as quickly. Some fell in the weeds; as it came up, it was strangled by the weeds. Some fell on good earth, and produced a harvest beyond his wildest dreams.

Matthew 13:8Living Bible (TLB)
But some fell on good soil and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as he had planted.

Matthew 13:8New Life Version (NLV)

And so finally the sower scattered his seeds in a patch of good earth. At home in the good earth, the seeds grew and grew. Eventually the seeds bore fruit, and the fruit grew ripe and was harvested. The harvest was immense—30, 60, 100 times what was sown.

Kristuksen puolesta: antakaa sovittaa

itsenne Jumalan kanssa. Jes. 45:22, 52:7;

1. Kor. 4:1

21. Hänet, joka ei synnistä tiennyt,

Jumala teki meidän tähtemme synniksi,

jotta me hänessä tulisimme Jumalan

vanhurskaudeksi. Jes. 53:6,9,12;

2 Corinthians 5:17-21Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!
18 But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].
19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).
20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.
21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [[
a]endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
2 Corinthians 6:1-2Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
6 Laboring together [as God’s fellow workers] with Him then, we beg of you not to receive the grace of God in vain [that [
a]merciful kindness by which God exerts His holy influence on souls and turns them to Christ, keeping and strengthening them—do not receive it to no purpose].
For He says, In the time of favor (of an assured welcome) I have listened to and heeded your call, and I have helped you on the day of deliverance (the day of salvation). Behold, now is truly the time for a gracious welcome and acceptance [of you from God]; behold, now is the day of salvation!

Ef 3:12 Ephesians 3:12Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
12 In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).

07.07.2016 Room 1:16-17, Room 1:5

Room 1:16-17 Sillä minä en häpeä evankeliumia; sillä se on Jumalan voima, itsekullekin uskovalle pelastukseksi, juutalaiselle ensin, sitten myös kreikkalaiselle. Sillä siinä Jumalan vanhurskaus ilmestyy uskosta uskoon, niinkuin kirjoitettu on: "Vanhurskas on elävä uskosta".

Romans 1:16-17Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed,
 both springing from faith
and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]
. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.”

Romans 1:16-17Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death]
to everyone who believes with a personal trust
and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,
17 For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed,
 both springing from faith
and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith].
As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.

Room 1:5. Hänen kauttaan me olemme saaneet

armon ja apostolinviran, että

syntyisi uskon kuuliaisuus hänen nimeään

kohtaan kaikissa pakanakansoissa,
