1 Peter 1:23-25 Amplified Bible
23 for you have been born again [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is, through the living and everlasting word of God. 24 For,
“All flesh is like grass,
And all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers
And the flower falls off,
25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.”
And this is the word [the good news of salvation] which was preached to you.

1 Peter 1:23-25 New Living Translation
23 For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

 24 As the Scriptures say,
“People are like grass;
their beauty is like a flower in the field.
The grass withers and the flower fades.
25     But the word of the Lord remains forever.”[a]
And that word is the Good News that was preached to you. Footnotes

25     but the word of the Lord endures forever.”[a]

1 Peter 1:23-25
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
23 You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal [a]origin ([b]seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God.

25 But the Word of the Lord ([c]divine instruction, the Gospel) endures forever. And this Word is the good news which was preached to you.
