29.03.2026 Habakuk 3:17-18

Habakkuk 3:17-18 Amplified Bible

17 Though the fig tree does not blossom

And there is no fruit on the vines,

Though the yield of the olive fails

And the fields produce no food,

Though the flock is cut off from the fold

And there are no cattle in the stalls,

18 Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord;

I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!

Habakkuk 3:17-18 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition 17 Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation!

Habakkuk 3:17-18 New Living Translation

17 Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,

    and there are no grapes on the vines;

even though the olive crop fails,

    and the fields lie empty and barren;

even though the flocks die in the fields,

    and the cattle barns are empty,

18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord!

    I will be joyful in the God of my salvation

Psalms 58:7 Let them melt away as water which runs on apace; when he aims his arrows, let them be as if they were headless or split apart.

Habakuk 3:19 Raamattu 1933/38

19 Herra, Herra on minun voimani. Veisuunjohtajalle; minun kielisoittimillani.

Habakkuk 3:19 Amplified Bible

19 The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army];

He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet

And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my [a]high places [of challenge and responsibility].

For the choir director, on my stringed instruments. Footnotes Habakkuk 3:19 The troubled times of life may actually be the “high places” of spiritual growth for the believer who remains stable when tested by God.

Habakkuk 3:19 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! For the Chief Musician; with my stringed instruments.

Habakkuk 3:19 New Living Translation

19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength!

    He makes me as surefooted as a deer,[a]

    able to tread upon the heights.

(For the choir director: This prayer is to be accompanied by stringed instruments.)

Matthew 11:13-15 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

13 For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied up until John.

Matthew 11:13-15 New Living Translation

13 For before John came, all the prophets and the law of Moses looked forward to this present time. 14 And if you are willing to accept what I say, he is Elijah, the one the prophets said would come.[a] 15 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand! Footnotes 11:14 See Mal 4:5.
