19.03.2026 Ps 80:2-3

Ps 80:2-3 Raamattu 1933/38 2 Kuuntele, Israelin paimen. Sinä, joka johdat Joosefia niinkuin lammaslaumaa, sinä, jonka valtaistuinta kerubit kannattavat, ilmesty kirkkaudessasi. 3 Efraimin, Benjaminin ja Manassen edessä herätä voimasi, tule meidän avuksemme.

Psalm 80:2-3 Amplified Bible
2 Before [a]Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Your power
And come to save us!
3 Restore us, O God;
Cause Your face to shine on us [with favor and approval], and we will be saved.

Footnotes Psalm 80:2 It is believed that these three tribes represented all twelve tribes of Israel, Benjamin being incorporated into Judah, Manasseh inhabiting the country beyond the Jordan, and Ephraim the remainder of the land. It was natural for the Israelites to think of the three in one group, for they had camped together on the west side of the tabernacle during the years in the wilderness, and they were also the only descendants of Jacob’s wife Rachel.

Psalm 80:2-3 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
2 Before [a]Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh! Stir up Your might, and come to save us!
3 Restore us again, O God; and cause Your face to shine [in pleasure and approval on us], and we shall be saved!
Footnotes Psalm 80:2 It is supposed that these three tribes represented the whole twelve tribes of Israel, Benjamin being incorporated with Judah, Manasseh embracing the country beyond the Jordan, and Ephraim the remainder. It was natural for the Israelites to think of the three in one group, for they had camped together on the west side of the tabernacle during the years in the wilderness, and also they were the only descendants of Jacob’s wife Rachel.

Psalm 80:2-3 New Living Translation
2     to Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh.
Show us your mighty power.
    Come to rescue us!
3 Turn us again to yourself, O God.
    Make your face shine down upon us.
    Only then will we be saved.
