Ps 146:5 -10 KR33/39
5 Autuas se, jonka apuna on Jaakobin
Jumala, se, joka panee toivonsa Herraan, Jumalaansa,
6 häneen, joka on tehnyt taivaan ja maan,
meren ja kaiken, mitä niissä on, joka pysyy uskollisena iankaikkisesti,
7 joka hankkii oikeuden sorretuille,
joka antaa leivän nälkäisille. Herra vapauttaa vangitut,
8 Herra avaa sokeain silmät, Herra
nostaa alaspainetut, Herra rakastaa vanhurskaita.
9 Herra varjelee muukalaiset, holhoo
orvot ja lesket, mutta jumalattomain tien hän tekee mutkaiseksi.
10 Herra on kuningas iankaikkisesti,
sinun Jumalasi, Siion, polvesta polveen. Halleluja!

Blessed are those whose helpis the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lordtheir God.
6 He
is the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
he remains faithful forever.
7 He
upholds the cause of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry.
The
Lord sets prisoners free,
8 the Lord gives sight to the blind,
the
Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,
the Lord loves the righteous.
9 The
Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherlessand the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10
The Lord reigns forever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations.
