21.04. Ps 127:2

Ps. 127:2 Turhaan te nousette varhain ja myöhään menette levolle ja syötte leipänne murheella: yhtä hyvin hän antaa ystävilleen heidän nukkuessansa.
Psalm 127:2Amplified Bible (AMP)
It is vain for you to rise early,
To retire late,
To eat the bread of anxious labors—
For He gives [blessings] to His beloved even in his sleep.
Psalm 127:2Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of [anxious] toil—for He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep
Psalm 127:2The Message (MSG)
A Pilgrim Song of Solomon
127 1-2 If God doesn’t build the house,
    the builders only build shacks.
If God doesn’t guard the city,
the night watchman might as well nap.
It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late,
and work your worried fingers to the bone.
Don’t you know he enjoys
giving rest to those he loves?
Psalm 127:2Living Bible (TLB)
It is senseless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, fearing you will starve to death; for God wants his loved ones to get their proper rest.
Biblia (1776)
Se on turha, että te varhain nousette ja hiljain maata menette, ja syötte leipänne surulla; sillä hän antaa ystävillensä heidän maatessansa.
