2.Kor:12:9 Ja hän sanoi minulle: "Minun armossani on sinulle kyllin; sillä
minun voimani tulee täydelliseksi heikkoudessa." Sentähden minä mieluimmin
kerskaan heikkoudestani, että Kristuksen voima asettuisi minuun asumaan.
2 Corinthians 12:9
…My grace
(My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against
any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and
power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most
effective in [your] weakness.…
2 Corinthians 12:9Amplified Bible,
Classic Edition (AMPC)
9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and
loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and
enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and
power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the
more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and
power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [b]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
2
Corinthians 12:9Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient
for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless
of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and
shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the
more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely
enfold me and] may dwell in me.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10The Message (MSG)
7-10 Because of the extravagance of those
revelations, and so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a
handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did
his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger
then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn’t think of it as a
gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,
My grace is enough; it’s all
you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
Once I heard that, I was
glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating
the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Now I
take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me
down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take
over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.

Corinthians 12:9Living Bible (TLB)
9 Each time he said, “No. But I am with you;
that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people.” Now I am glad to
boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ’s
power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities.
