26.09. Fil 1:27-30

Fil 1: 27. Käyttäytykää vain Kristuksen
evankeliumin arvon mukaisesti. Silloin
minä, tulenpa luoksenne ja näen teidät
tai olen tulematta, saan kuulla
teistä, että pysytte samassa hengessä
ja yksimielisesti taistelette yhdessä
evankeliumin uskon puolesta Ef. 4:1;
Kol. 1:10; 1. Tess. 2:12, 4:128. antamatta vastustajien millään
tavoin säikyttää itseänne. Tämä on
heille kadotuksen mutta teille pelastuksen
merkki, ja se tulee Jumalalta.Room. 8:17; 2. Tess. 1:5,629.
Kristuksen tähden teidän on suotu,
ei ainoastaan uskoa häneen vaan
myös kärsiä hänen tähtensä.
Ap. t. 5:41; Room. 5:3
30. Teillä on sama taistelu, jota olette
nähneet minun käyvän ja jota nyt
kuulette
minun yhä jatkavan.

Philippians 1Amplified Bible (AMP) 27 Only [be sure to] lead your lives in a manner [that will be] worthy of the gospel of
Christ, so that whether I do come and see you or remain absent, I will hear
about you that you are standing firm in
one spirit [and one purpose], with one [
d]mind striving side by side [as if in combat] for the faith of the gospel.
28 And in no way be alarmed or
intimidated [in anything] by your opponents, for such [constancy and
fearlessness on your part] is a [clear] sign [a proof and a seal]
for them
of [their impending] destruction, but [a clear sign] for you of deliverance and
salvation, and that too, from God.

29 For you have been granted
[the privilege] for Christ’s sake, not only to believe and confidently
trust in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

30 [and so you are] experiencing
the same [kind of] conflict which [
e]you saw me endure, and which you hear to be mine now.

Philippians 1The Message (MSG) 27-30 Meanwhile, live in such a way that you are a credit to the Message of Christ. Let nothing in
your conduct hang on whether I come or not.
Your conduct must be the same
whether I show up to see things for myself or hear of it from a distance. Stand united, singular in vision,
contending for people’s trust in the
Message, the good news, not flinching or dodging in the slightest before the
opposition.
Your courage and unity will show them what they’re up against:
defeat for them, victory for you—and both because of God. There’s far more to this life than trusting in Christ. There’s also
suffering for him. And the suffering is as much a gift as the trusting. You’re
involved in the same kind of struggle you saw me go through, on which you are
now getting an updated report in this letter.

Philippians 1Living Bible (TLB) 27 But whatever happens to me, remember always to live as Christians should, so that whether I ever see you again or not, I will keep on
hearing good reports that
you are
standing side by side with one strong purpose—to tell the Good News

28 fearlessly, no matter what your enemies may do. They will see this as a sign of their
downfall, but for you it will be a clear sign from God that he is with you, and
that he has given you eternal life with him.

29 For to you has been given the privilege not
only of trusting him but also of suffering for him.
30 We are in this fight together. You have seen me suffer for him in the past; and I am still in
the midst of a great and terrible struggle
now, as you know so well.
