Kol 3:1-4 Vanha ja uusi elämä FINRK

1.Jos siis teidät on herätetty yhdessä Kristuksen kanssa, niin etsikää sitä, mikä on ylhäällä, missä Kristus istuu Jumalan oikealla puolella. Ps. 110:1; Ef. 1:20; Fil. 3:20,21

2.Kiinnittäkää mielenne siihen, mikä on ylhäällä, älkää siihen, mikä on maan päällä.  Matt. 6:33; Luuk. 16:15; Room. 8:5

3.Tehän olette kuolleet, ja teidän elämänne on Kristuksen kanssa kätkettynä Jumalassa. 2. Kor. 5:15; Gal. 2:20 4. Kun Kristus, teidän elämänne, ilmestyy, silloin tekin ilmestytte hänen

3 If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

² And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.

³ For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.

⁴ When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory.

Put On the New Self

3 Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ² Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. ³ For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ, who is our life, ^[a]appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
