 Joh 14: Tie, totuus ja elämä 1 "Älköön sydämenne olko levoton. Uskokaa Jumalaan ja uskokaa minuun.
 2 Minun Isäni kodissa on monta huonetta -- enhän minä muuten sanoisi, että menen valmistamaan teille asuinsijan.
3 Minä menen valmistamaan teille sijaa mutta tulen sitten takaisin ja noudan teidät luokseni, jotta saisitte olla siellä missä minä olen.
4 Te tiedätte kyllä tien sinne minne minä menen."

Joh. 14: 27 "Minä jätän teille rauhan. Oman rauhani minä annan teille, en sellaista jonka maailma antaa. Olkaa rohkeat, älkää vaipuko epätoivoon.

28 Kuulittehan, mitä sanoin: minä menen pois, mutta tulen taas teidän luoksenne. Jos rakastaisitte minua, te iloitsisitte siitä, että minä menen Isän luo, sillä Isä on minua suurempi.

teille sijaa, tulen takaisin ja otan

teidät luokseni, että tekin olisitte siellä,

te tiedätte.”

Joh 14:  Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
² In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.
³ And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.
⁴ And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.

Joh 14:²⁷ Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]²⁸ You heard Me tell you, I am going away and I am coming [back] to you. If you [really] loved Me, you would have been glad, because I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater and mightier than I am.
