21.09. Hebr 3:13

Hebr 3:13 vaan kehoittakaa toisianne joka päivä, niin kauan kuin sanotaan: "tänä päivänä", ettei teistä kukaan synnin pettämänä paatuisi;
Hebrews 3:13Amplified Bible (AMP)
13 But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” [and there is an opportunity], so that none of you will be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [its cleverness, delusive glamour, and sophistication].
Hebrews 3:13Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
13 But instead warn (admonish, urge, and encourage) one another every day, as long as it is called Today, that none of you may be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [by the fraudulence, the stratagem, the trickery which the delusive glamor of his sin may play on him].
Hebrews 3:13-14The Message (MSG)12-14 So watch your step, friends. Make sure there’s no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God. For as long as it’s still God’s Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn’t slow down your reflexes. If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul.
These words keep ringing in our ears:
Today, please listen;
    don’t turn a deaf ear as in the bitter uprising.

Hebrealaiskirje:3:15 Kun sanotaan: "Tänä päivänä, jos te kuulette hänen äänensä, älkää paaduttako sydämiänne, niinkuin teitte katkeroituksessa",
Hebrews 3:15Amplified Bible (AMP)
15 while it is said,“Today [while there is still opportunity] if you hear His voice,
Do not harden your heart, as when they provoked Me [in the rebellion in the desert at Meribah].”
Hebrews 3:15Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
15 Then while it is [still] called Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion [in the desert, when the people provoked and irritated and embittered God against them].
Hebrews 3:15-19The Message (MSG)
15-19 For who were the people who turned a deaf ear? Weren’t they the very ones Moses led out of Egypt? And who was God provoked with for forty years? Wasn’t it those who turned a deaf ear and ended up corpses in the wilderness? And when he swore that they’d never get where they were going, wasn’t he talking to the ones who turned a deaf ear? They never got there because they never listened, never believed.
