30.12. Fil 4:6-13

Fil 4: 6. Älkää olko mistään huolissanne,

vaan kaikessa saattakaa pyyntönne

rukoillen ja anoen kiitoksen kanssa

Jumalan tietoon, Ps. 55:23; Matt. 6:25;Kol. 4:2; 1. Tim. 2:1; 1. Piet. 5:7

7. ja Jumalan rauha, joka on kaikkea

ymmärrystä ylempi, varjelee teidän

sydämenne ja ajatuksenne Kristuksessa

Jeesuksessa. Joh. 14:27;Room. 5:1; Kol. 3:15
8. Sitten vielä, veljet, kaikki mikä on

totta, mikä kunnioitettavaa ja oikeaa,

mikä puhdasta, rakastettavaa ja hyvältä

kuulostavaa, jos on jokin hyve ja

jotakin kiitettävää, sitä ajatelkaa.

Room. 12:17, 13:13

13. Kaiken minä voin hänessä, joka

minua vahvistaa. Mark. 9:23

Philippians 4Amplified Bible (AMP) 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.
7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
8 Finally, [b]
believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].
13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
Philippians 4Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) 6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([b]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
7 And God’s peace [shall be yours, that [
c]tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall [d]
garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [
g]infuses inner strength into me; I am [h]self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Philippians 4The Message (MSG) 6-7 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that,
and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
Content Whatever the Circumstances
13Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.

Philippians 4Living Bible (TLB) 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. 7 If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
8 And now, brothers, as I close this letter, let me say this one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned from me and saw me doing, and the God of peace will be with you.
13 for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power
