15 Minä tahdon opettaa väärille sinun tiesi, että syntiset sinun tykösi palajaisivat.

16 Päästä minut verenvioista, Jumala, minun autuuteni Jumala, että minun kieleni riemuitsisi sinun vanhurskaudestasi.

17 Herra, avaa minun huuleni, että minun suuni julistaisi sinun kiitostasi.

18 Sillä ei sinulle kelpaa teurasuhri, sen minä kyllä antaisin; polttouhri ei ole sinulle mieleen.

19 Jumalalle kelpaava uhri on särjetty henki; särjettyä ja murtunutta sydäntä et sinä, Jumala, hylkää.

 

Psalm 51:15-19 Amplified Bible

15 O Lord, open my lips,

That my mouth may declare Your praise.

16 For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;

You are not pleased with burnt offering.

17 My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit;

A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.

18 By Your favor do good to Zion;

May You rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness,

In burnt offering and whole burnt offering;

Then young bulls will be offered on Your altar.

 

Psalm 51:15-19 New Living Translation

15 Unseal my lips, O Lord,

    that my mouth may praise you.

16 You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one.

    You do not want a burnt offering.

17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit.

    You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

18 Look with favor on Zion and help her;

    rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit—

    with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings.

    Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar.
