 Psalmien 88:1-5 Raamattu 1933/38

88 Koorahilaisten laulu, virsi; veisuunjohtajalle; veisataan kuin: "Sairaus"; esrahilaisen Heemanin mietevirsi.
2 Herra, minun pelastukseni Jumala, päivin ja öin minä huudan sinun edessäsi.
3 Salli minun rukoukseni tulla kasvojesi eteen, kallista korvasi minun huutoni puoleen.
4 Sillä minun sieluni on kärsimyksistä kylläinen, ja minun elämäni on lähellä tuonelaa.
5 Minut luetaan hautaan menevien joukkoon, minä olen kuin mies, jolta voima on poissa.

Psalm 88:1-5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
Psalm 88
A song. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. To the Chief Musician; set to chant mournfully. A didactic or reflective poem of Heman the Ezrahite.
1 O Lord, the God of my salvation, I have cried to You for help by day; at night I am in Your presence.
2 Let my prayer come before You and really enter into Your presence; incline Your ear to my cry!
3 For I am full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol (the place of the dead).
4 I am counted among those who go down into the pit (the grave); I am like a man who has no help or strength [a mere shadow],
5 Cast away among the dead, like the slain that lie in a [nameless] grave, whom You [seriously] remember no more, and they are cut off from Your hand.

Psalm 88:1-5 New Living Translation

1 O Lord, God of my salvation,
I cry out to you by day.
I come to you at night.
2 Now hear my prayer;
    listen to my cry.
3 For my life is full of troubles,
    and death[b] draws near.
4 I am as good as dead,
like a strong man with no strength left.
5 They have left me among the dead,
and I lie like a corpse in a grave.
I am forgotten,
    cut off from your care.
