04.05.2018 Korkea Veisu 2:11-14

Korkea Veisu 2:11. Sillä katso, talvi on väistynyt, sateet ovat ohitse, ovat menneet menojaan.

14. Kyyhkyseni, joka piilet kallionkoloissa, vuorenpengermillä anna minun nähdä kasvosi, anna minun kuulla äänesi, sillä suloinen on sinun äänesi ja ihanat ovat sinun kasvosi."

Song of Solomon 2 Amplified Bible (AMP)

11 For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone.

12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.

13 The fig tree puts forth and ripens her green figs, and the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance. [b]Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

14 [So I went with him, and when we were climbing the rocky steps up the hillside, my beloved shepherd said to me] O my dove, [while you are here] in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff, let me see your face, [c]let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.

Song of Solomon 2 The Message (MSG)

The Man 10-14 Get up, my dear friend,
fair and beautiful lover—come to me!
Look around you: Winter is over;
the winter rains are over, gone!
Spring flowers are in blossom all over.
The whole world’s a choir—and singing!
Spring warblers are filling the forest
with sweet arpeggios.
Lilacs are exuberantly purple and perfumed,
and cherry trees fragrant with blossoms.
Oh, get up, dear friend,
my fair and beautiful lover—come to me!
Come, my shy and modest dove—
leave your seclusion, come out in the open.
Let me see your face,
let me hear your voice.
For your voice is soothing
and your face is ravishing.

Song of Solomon 2 Living Bible (TLB)

11 For the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers are springing up and the time of the singing of birds has come. Yes, spring is here.[b] 13 The leaves are coming out,[c] and the grapevines are in blossom. How delicious they smell! Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.’

14 “My dove is hiding behind some rocks, behind an outcrop of the cliff. Call to me and let me hear your lovely voice and see your handsome face.

Song of Songs 2:11-14 (NLT)

Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone.

The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds* has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.

The fig trees are forming young fruit, and the fragrant grapevines are blossoming. Rise up, my darling!  Come away with me, my fair one!"

My dove is hiding behind the rocks, behind an outcrop on the cliff. Let me see your face; let me hear your voice. For your voice is pleasant,  and your face is lovely.
