Kol. 2:1-3 Elämä Kristuksessa
1. Tahdon teidän tietävän, kuinka
suuri taistelu minulla on teidän tähtenne
ja laodikealaisten ja kaikkien
niiden tähden, jotka eivät ole nähneet
minun kasvojani, Fil. 1:30; Kol. 4:16
2. että he, sydämet yhteen liittyneinä
rakkaudessa, saisivat rohkeuden
omistaa täysin varman ymmärtämisen
koko rikkauden ja pääsisivät tuntemaan
Jumalan salaisuuden, Kristuksen.
Joh. 17:3; Ef. 3:18,19; Fil. 1:9
3. Hänessä ovat kaikki viisauden ja
tiedon aarteet kätkettyinä.
Colossians
2:3Amplified Bible (AMP) You Are Built Up in Christ 2 For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and
for those [believers] at [a]Laodicea,
and for all who [like yourselves] have never seen me face to face. 2 [For
my hope is] that their hearts may be encouraged as they are knit together in
[unselfish] [b]love, so
that they may have all the riches that come from the full assurance of
understanding [the joy of salvation], resulting in a true [and more intimate]
knowledge of the [c]mystery of
God, that is, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the
treasures of wisdom and knowledge [regarding the word and purposes of God].
Footnotes: Colossians 2:1 Along with Colossae, Laodicea was located in the valley of the Lycus River and is one of the seven churches mentioned in Rev 1-3.
Colossians 2:2 See note 1:4. Colossians 1:4 The key to understanding this and other statements about love is to know that this love (the Greek word agape) is not so much a matter of emotion as it is of doing things for the benefit of another person, that is, having an unselfish concern for another and a willingness to seek the best for another.
Colossians 2:2 See note 1:26. Colossians 1:26 I.e. that believing Gentiles would be united with believing Jews into one body of believers.
