Jer 17:7-8 KR33/38 Siunattu on se mies, joka turvaa Herraan, jonka turvana Herra on.  Hän on kuin veden partaalle istutettu puu, joka ojentaa juurensa puron puoleen; helteen tuloa se ei peljästy, vaan sen lehvä on vihanta, ei poutavuonnakaan sillä ole huolta, eikä se herkeä hedelmää tekemästä.

Jer 17:7-8 NIV 7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD,

whose confidence is in him.

8 They will be like a tree planted by the water

that sends out its roots by the stream.

It does not fear when heat comes;
