Ps 146:7-9 Raamattu 1933/38 7 joka hankkii oikeuden sorretuille, joka antaa leivän nälkäisille. Herra vapauttaa vangitut, 8 Herra avaa sokeain silmät, Herra nostaa alaspainetut, Herra rakastaa vanhurskaita.9 Herra varjelee muukalaiset, holhoo orvot ja lesket, mutta jumalattomain tien hän tekee mutkaiseksi.

Psalm 146:7-9 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition 7 Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets free the prisoners,8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the [uncompromisingly] righteous (those upright in heart and in right standing with Him).9 The Lord protects and preserves the strangers and temporary residents, He upholds the fatherless and the widow and sets them upright, but the way of the wicked He makes crooked (turns upside down and brings to ruin).

The Lord frees the prisoners.

8     The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.

The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down.

    The Lord loves the godly.

9 The Lord protects the foreigners among us.

    He cares for the orphans and widows,

    but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.
