Luukkaan 1:34-38 Raamattu
1933/38 34 Niin Maria sanoi enkelille:
"Kuinka tämä voi tapahtua, kun minä en miehestä mitään tiedä?"35 Enkeli vastasi ja sanoi
hänelle: "Pyhä Henki tulee sinun päällesi, ja Korkeimman voima varjoaa sinut;
"Katso, minä olen Herran palvelijatar; tapahtukoon minulle sinun sanasi
mukaan". Ja enkeli lähti hänen tyköänsä.
Luke
1:34-38 Amplified Bible34 Mary
said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin and have no intimacy
with any man?” 35 Then the angel replied to her, “The Holy Spirit will
come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a
cloud]; for that reason the holy (pure, sinless) Child shall be called the Son
of God. 36 And listen, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a
son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.
37 For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” 38 Then
Mary said, “[a]Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me
according to your word.” And the angel left her.
FootnotesLuke 1:38
Mary’s response was significantly different from Zacharias’ (v 18). Zacharias
would not take Gabriel’s word, and instead wanted some kind of miraculous sign
as proof.
Luke 1:34-38 New Living
Translation34 Mary
asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.”35 The
angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most
High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be
called the Son of God. 36 What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become
pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has
conceived a son and is now in her sixth month. 37 For the word of God will
never fail.[a]”38 Mary
responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come
true.” And then the angel left her.
Footnotes1:37 Some
manuscripts read For nothing is impossible with God.
