Kol 1:23 Raamattu 1933/38 3 jos te vain pysytte uskossa,
siihen perustuneina ja siinä lujina, horjahtamatta pois sen evankeliumin
toivosta, jonka olette kuulleet, jota on julistettu kaikessa luomakunnassa
taivaan alla ja jonka palvelijaksi minä, Paavali, olen tullut.

He will do this] if you continue in the faith, well-grounded and steadfast, and

Footnotes Colossians
1:23 Paul may be referring to the fact that the created world displays proof of
the existence of an omnipotent, benevolent God (cf Rom 1:20), without whom
there would be no possibility of salvation. Such a God is the foundation of the
“good news.”
Colossians
1:23 New Living Translation 23 But
you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift
away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good
News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as
God’s servant to proclaim it.
