Mark.
Mark.

Mark
11:23-24 Amplified Bible
23 I
assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be
lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and [a]does not doubt in his heart [in
God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place,
it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. 24 For this
reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance
with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them,
and they will be given to you.
Footnotes Mark 11:23 Jesus used this moment to emphasize to the
disciples that a person’s confident, abiding faith combined with God’s
power can produce absolutely amazing results, if the request is in harmony with
God’s will. God is fully capable of doing that which man regards as impossible (cf
14:36; James 4:3).
Markuksen 14:36 Raamattu 1933/38
36 ja sanoi: "Abba, Isä, kaikki on mahdollista sinulle; ota pois
minulta tämä malja. Mutta ei, mitä minä tahdon, vaan mitä sinä!"
Mark 14:36 Amplified Bible
36 He
was saying, “[a]Abba, Father! All things are possible for You; take this cup
[of judgment] away from Me; but not what I will, but what You will.”
Footnotes
Mark 14:36 An Aramaic word used by young children when addressing their
fathers, but not used by Jews in prayer because of the word’s implied
familiarity. Jesus’ use of the word emphasized his Father-Son relationship with
God.
Jaakobin 4:3 Raamattu 1933/38
3 Te anotte, ettekä saa, sentähden että anotte kelvottomasti,
kuluttaaksenne sen himoissanne.
James 4:3 Amplified Bible
3 You ask [God for something] and do not receive it, because you ask
[a]with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda], so
that [when you get what you want] you may spend it on your [hedonistic] desires
