1 Piet. 4:1

. ”SO, SINCE Christ suffered in the flesh for us,
for you, arm yourselves with the same thought and purpose [patiently to suffer
rather than fail to please God]. For whoever has suffered in the flesh [having
the mind of Christ] is done with [intentional] sin [has stopped pleasing
himself and the world, and pleases God],”
1 Peter 4:1 AMPC
”So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you
must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too.
For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin.”
1 Peter 4:1 NLT

”Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh [and
died for us], arm yourselves [like warriors] with the same purpose [being
willing to suffer for doing what is right and pleasing God], because whoever
has suffered in the flesh [being like-minded with Christ] is done with
[intentional] sin [having stopped pleasing the world],”
