to all generations.

MSG  2 Moos 3: ¹¹ Moses answered
God, “But why me? What makes you think that I could ever go to Pharaoh and lead
the children of Israel out of Egypt?”¹² “I’ll be with you,” God
said. “And this will be the proof that I am the one who sent you: When you have
brought my people out of Egypt, you will worship God right here at this very
mountain.”¹³ Then Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the
People of Israel and I tell them, ‘The God of your fathers sent me to you’; and
they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What do I tell them?”¹⁴ God said to
Moses, “I-AM-WHO-I-AM. Tell the People
of Israel, ‘I-AM sent me to you.’”¹⁵ God continued with Moses:
“This is what you’re to say to the Israelites: ‘God, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob sent me to you.’ This has always been my name, and this is how I always will be known.

TLB  2 Moos 3: ¹¹ “But I’m not the
person for a job like that!” Moses exclaimed.¹² Then God told him, “I will certainly be with you, and this
is the proof that I am the one who is sending you: When you have led the people
out of Egypt, you shall worship God here

MSG 1 Kor 6: ¹⁹Or didn’t you realize that
your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that
you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price
for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the
spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and
through your body.

TLB 1 Kor 6:¹⁹ Haven’t you
yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit God gave you, and
that he lives within you? Your own body does not belong to you. ²⁰ For God
has bought you with a great price. So use every part of your body to give glory
back to God because he owns it.

MSG 1 Joh 2: ^24-25 Stay with
what you heard from the beginning, the
original message. Let it sink into your life. If what you heard from the
beginning lives deeply in you, you will live deeply in both Son and Father.
This is exactly what Christ promised: eternal life, real life!^26-27 I’ve
written to warn you about those who are trying to deceive you. But they’re no
match for what is embedded deeply within you—Christ’s anointing, no less! You
don’t need any of their so-called teaching. Christ’s anointing teaches you the
truth on everything you need to know about yourself and him, uncontaminated by
a single lie. Live deeply in what you
were taught.
Live Deeply in Christ
²⁸ And now, children, stay with Christ. Live deeply in Christ. Then we’ll be ready for him when he appears, ready to receive him with open arms, with no cause for red-faced guilt or lame excuses when he arrives.²⁹ Once you’re convinced that he is right and righteous, you’ll recognize that all who practice righteousness are God’s true children.
